A6 Processor – Following all the new tablets on the market the iPad 3 is expected to be released with Apples brand new quad-core A6 processor. Apple would be extremely stupid not to release the iPad 3 with the A6, with competition like NVIDIAs Tegra 3 chip, and Qualcomms Snapdragon S4. Expect a big increase in performance and graphical performance with this new release. At a guess i'd say the A6 would clock in around 1GHz. Hopefully we'll be seeing more games running the Unreal Engine such as Infinity Blade that will utilise the 4 cores of this chip and also potential console ports like the rumoured Grand Theft Auto…read more
