Who we are, and who we want you to be
Staffordshire IT are a small but very well established firm of 3 full time employees and 4 Part time we provide a massive range of services from data cabling to web design IT Support and server installations to SEO and digital CCTV Installs. Business is booming so we we need another engineer to assist us in daily IT Support duties to our clients.
You will be out in the field assisting us with support and installations so your own car is essential, but also you will spend a lot of time working on your own, both in our offices in Lichfield City centre and out onsite on customers premises. Working under your own initiative being responsible, organised, hard working and trustworthy are all necessary attributes you must show to gain the position.
The role
The role will involve assisting customers over the phone, via remote control support and also onsite at customers premises, covering a wide range of general IT support, networking, PC and Server repair and installations, so a good working knowledge of Servers, Email, PC hardware, Microsoft Software and Networking is an absolute must, whilst knowledge of server 2008 and the educational RM system and knowledge of websites would be a good advantage, so please note this in your opening correspondence (these latter points are not essential for the position though).
The important bit!
A starting Salary of between £13000 and £16000 depending on experience, company mobile, laptop and expenses included.
